The New "Halo" or Halo 4?
Many rumors have been traveling all about the web, such as Bungie working on new "Halo" games.
Yeah, I would love to have a new Halo 4 as the next person, but is that what Bungie is aiming for?
Well recent news with a man high enough with Bungie to actually believe him, says the new game is neither Halo 4 nor Halo Wars. I mean, what game sounds cool with a four after it other than Call of Duty. Here is my take. Halo 3 was great but not excellent, it was fantastic but not outstanding, it had pizazz but not enough spice. The game is amazing for sure, but it lacks something. Now what that is... I have no idea... but I know that it's there.
I believe there will be a combination of hardcore gaming (Gears of War), tactical;real-life (Call of Duty 4), and good old... let's pwn some noobz. Here is what I think should be the main focus and what the game needs.
- Different Gameplay Style
- More Hardcore Gaming
- No Tactics, but real-life sort of take on it
- More customizable
- Better Machinama capable (Theater Transfer?)
- Excellent Graphics
- Different Camera Take
- More Spice
- More Games such as Grifball
- Better Sounds (not soundtrack)
- It should be called "Gears Duty of Halo I"

I say, the number doesn't count. Basically, they try to build up the best of what they missed out in the previous games by making something new.
The war ended at the end of Halo 3 and all we want to see is whether Master Chief dies or not. That's all. So they have very little to work with. Yes, okay, there are all the other Halo rings that can still be activated individually but nevertheless, it doesn't stop the possibility of this being the limit because one halo per game was harsh enough, imagine a whole game devout to halo-bashing!!
Madness. You'd get bored of the scenery.
Really, I think, they've had a good run and trying to better what has already been undoubtedly, 3 times in a row, claimed as one of the few FPS' of its time worth playing, just leave it as it is and don't bounce any further because, I'll admit, I'd gladly open up my piggy bank to knock back a few with Halo 4 on but nevertheless, I'll be disappointed to be left with this feeling that I cannot guess the ending for myself and have the cliffhanger tear the game's suspense ending to a grinding halt.
I'm pretty sure I went all over the shop with that single, extremely long sentence but still, it makes sense.
Why better what is already named one of the best?

Halo 3 may have missed out one or two things but what game, can anyone honestly admit, has EVERYTHING it is supposed to? Can anyone name a game that REALLY has EVERYTHING you wanted in it and nothing to complain about?

Bungie announced it recently. It'll take place in New Mombasa right after the slip space rupture by truth in Halo 2. You get to play as an O.D.S.T. and get a silenced smg which is about as much as anyone knows at this point in time.
That's right. The game is Halo 3: Recon. I think it looks pretty badass and it's supposed to come out in fall of 2009.

hey morons (some of you) this is NOT halo ODST and it is NOT made by Bungie. It is Halo 4 made by gearbox.
Well people have been saying if master chief dies or not, but if anyone has beaten Halo 3 on legendary, there's a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Masterchief goes into one of those sleeper pods and tells Cortana to wake him if anything is wrong. Now, toward the end of that cematic scene, you see themn heading toaward a planet, yet it doesn't look like Earth. If you looked at it closely, it almost looks artificially made. Interesting......... It may not be called Halo 4 since all of the rings are now gone, but possibly a new game, staring Master Chief and the Arbiter (possibly, not sure though, since he goes home, unless if he's contacted to help). But anyways, you get my point. They may not call it Halo four since all of the other rings are done, but I still think it'll link to the Halo trilogy we have so far.
P.S.- The are makinfg an expansion pack for Halo 3, orignally called Halo 3: Recon, but now it's Halo 3: ODST. This is a definate release BTW, being released this fall of 2009. It's unknonw yet if it'll be priced less than a full video game or the same amount.

if halo 4 were 2 be made, i say there should be a two side like halo2. (my thoughts) master cheif fights for survival while the Arbiter fights his problems. Say there was a mysterious findings of the flood on his home planet. Also later on MasterCheif and the Arbiter fight for every soul from there species and others as the flood from the time back where the real Forerunners lived when they were fighting the flood would return to haunt(maybe) the last lifeforms in the universe. (side note) And Also master cheif finds the remaining two Spartans still alive.

this is how halo 4 should be if it came out. spirit of fire picks up cortanas signal so they go after him. do to space the half of the ship that has m chief falls into the flood home world surronded by other flood planets. the homeworld used to be a covenant citadel so the half of the ship started to burn up and burned some flood off of the covenant base. the inpact activated a signal that reached to a far off planet that was being controlled do to rebelion grunts. they where so far away they never heard about the death of the main prophet.over at the rebelious planet there was the last prophet. also when m chief was falling he hit the grave mind badly damaging him so gravemind created a reincarnated gravemind to be the eir to the flood throne. but m chief had to run for his life cause he landed into a flood hive so grave mind grew strong again.knowing he didnt need the eir anymore eh decided to kill it.once he sent some flood to irradicate it the egg had hatched and was able to control the majority of the hive.the egg survived and conquered the hive as his new kingdom.back at the rebel planet the grunt rebel leader had finally won his home citadle and was getting stronger in numbers but soon the flood attacked and badly wouned his people. its a three sided story mode. the first couple of missions as m chief ur fighting for ur life waiting for spirit of fire to come. as the grunt u are trying to win the rebel war and are also fighting against the flood(the grunt soon wants revenge against the flood). and as the flood eir u are conquering hives fighting covenant and unsc war ships and trying to kill grave mind. tell me about the idea from 1(bad) 10(awsomenesss!)also once all three story modes are done they team up to kill grave mind who transferred himself into a mixture of a scarab and 2 scorpions. u have to break the legs then the head after words u get into the heart and kill him(it will be heavely guarded so dont expect a walk in a park) when u get to his heart u have to break the blue scarab circle thing then the engines the finsih the heart each broken part summons morre flood to protect him. and to finish it all off the flood eir the grunt leader and m chief all get special moves when u click x since it doesnt do anything the grunt has two since hes a grunt.1.stick fest:he gets a special plasma gun that fires stciky blue bombs.2: silver guards:two grunts in silver armor(because the leader is dressed in gold) one with a brute shot and te other with a fuel rod cannnon both come to help him(u cant use this in certain missions). the flood gets two aswell his second is the same as the grunt just flood version. his first is called infector rifle:is a battle rifle infected to fire infection forms u get more ammo by going to dead flood and taking some from there bodys. and m chief gets frenzy:he goes in a frenzy and beats the shit out of the enemy. and craftminship when he rips parts of unsc vehicles and uses them as weapons etc (exa warthog door shield scorpion is bat and hornet is duel rotation blades he uses them as daggers) and thats the end of how i think it should be

I believe that the that the new planet that the master chief finds could be either an elite or jackle homeworld. Then maybe cortanas signal is found by an enemy ship. the master chief is then forced to defend the ship and then steal the enemy ship and head back for earth. Once lord hood is notified perhaps a army is sent to combat this new threat... these are my thoughts.. comment to this weather you agree/not and your thoughts

Bngie's last Halo game is going to be Halo Reach. After that 343 industries a new Microsoft company will be up to making any futer Halo Game's.

Look guys, Halo 4 can't come out, because the war ended in Halo 3. Halo Reach is actually between Halo and Halo 2, ('cause your going to be fighting against the elites again) or it could be in Halo 2, but not after. But if Halo 4 were to come out, then there will we no Floods, Covenents or even the Master Chief.
sorry bud, Halo Reach is the Halo Prequel, meaning it takes place before Halo
I beat halo reach and all the spartens die. thats so sad. i wish master chief was in it though or at least one of the spartens survive so m chief can meet up with him later or something.
